What is it, and why is it used?

Benchmarking is a tool we use as Business Coaches to measure your company relative to your industry, locally, regionally or nationally.

As an analogy, when your doctor measures your blood pressure and pulse, he is doing so to compare your health relative to the population.

As professional business coaches, we do the same thing. This allows you to measure your results in a real, comparative way. That means you'll be able to focus precisely on what needs to change or improve and "ignore" another part of your business that is doing well.
